Teams

Neeraj is the Firm's Senior Partner and heads the coverage and claims practice. Before setting up Tuli & Co in 2000, Neeraj was a partner with insurance law specialist Kennedys in London, where he practised for 12+ years. He has industry leading experience in the contentious and non-contentious aspects of the insurance and reinsurance industry. Neeraj regularly assists clients with insurance coverage issues, regulatory advice, and product development. He also acts as an arbitrator.

Mandakini joined the Firm’s coverage and claims practice in 2009. She specialises in providing coverage and claims advice to Indian Insurers and Indian and overseas Reinsurers under a range of insurance policies, including E&O, D&O, EPL, CGL, Product Liability, Cyber, Media Liability and Trade Credit.

Smriti joined the Firm's coverage and claims practice in 2017. She specialises in providing coverage and claims advice to Indian Insurers and Indian and overseas Reinsurers under a range of insurance policies, including D&O, E&O, Cyber, CGL and Clinical Trials.

Anchit joined the Firm’s coverage and claims practice in 2018. He provides coverage and claims advice under a range of insurance policies, including SFSP, CAR, CGL, IAR, Product Liability, Marine, Aviation. Anchit also handles commercial disputes relating to contracts and insurance law.

Aastha joined the Firm’s coverage and claims practice in 2018. She provides coverage and claims advice to Insurers and Reinsurers under a range of insurance policies, including E&O, D&O, EPL, CGL, FFL, Media Liability and Trade Credit.

Aakriti joined the Firms coverage and claims practice in 2019. She provides coverage and claims advice to Insurers and Reinsurers under a range of insurance policies, including D&O, E&O, EPL, CGL, SFSP, Product Liability, Media Liability and Trade Credit. Aakriti also represents Indian Insurers and overseas Reinsurers in proceedings before the Indian Courts and in arbitrations.

Celia joined the Firm in 2006 and heads the Firm’s non-contentious practice. She specialises in product development, insurance regulatory advisory and commercial work for Insurers, Reinsurers, and insurance intermediaries, as well as general clients.

Anuj joined the Firm's non-contentious practice in 2017 after working in Mumbai with a leading General Insurer. He specialises in insurance and reinsurance regulatory and commercial advisory as well as insurance product development matters.

Priya joined the Firms insurance regulatory and corporate commercial practice in 2016. She specialises in insurance regulatory advisory as well as transactional and general corporate and commercial matters.

Anuj joined the Firm’s non-contentious practice in 2017 after working in Mumbai with a leading General Insurer. He specialises in insurance and reinsurance regulatory and corporate advisory as well as insurance product development matters.

Rajat joined in the Firm in 2001 and heads the dispute resolution practice. His core practice is litigation and arbitration on disputes involving insurance and reinsurance, investment treaties, sovereign funds, charterparties, sports and media, white collar issues, joint venture disputes, railways, aviation, and defence contracts. Rajat represents Insurers, Reinsurers, and commercial clients with litigious disputes before Indian Courts as well as before international and domestic arbitration tribunals.

Naval joined the Firm's dispute resolution practice in 2009. He specialises in handling insurance and reinsurance, shipping, trade credit, and bills of exchange related disputes for Indian Insurers, Trade Credit Insurers, overseas Reinsurers, and general commercial clients. Naval represents clients in proceedings before Indian Courts and ad-hoc and institutional arbitration tribunals.

Saket joined the Firm’s dispute resolution practice in 2011. He specialises in handling insurance and commercial disputes. Saket represents Indian Insurers, overseas Reinsurers, and general commercial clients on a range of proceedings before the Indian Courts and arbitration tribunals.

Amrit joined the Firms coverage and dispute resolution practice in 2011. He represents Indian Insurers and overseas Reinsurers in proceedings before Indian courts, tribunals, commissions and in arbitrations.

Arjun joined the Firms dispute resolution practice in 2015. He represents clients before Indian Courts and arbitral tribunals and specialises in disputes relating to contracts, insurance, insolvency, and company law.

Aditya joined the Firm’s dispute resolution practice in 2014. He specialises in domestic and international commercial arbitrations and arbitration related litigation, with special emphasis on insurance, reinsurance, and contracts pertaining to goods and services.

Sarthak joined the Firm's dispute resolution practice in 2017. He specialises in handling commercial disputes before Courts and Tribunals with an emphasis on insolvency law and domestic arbitrations relating to insurance contracts.

Anubhav joined the Firms dispute resolution practice in 2016. He specialises in handling commercial disputes before Courts and arbitral tribunals in India.

Varun joined the Firm's dispute resolution practice in 2019. He represents domestic and foreign clients before Indian Courts and arbitral tribunals and specialises in handling commercial disputes.

Suraj joined the Firm’s dispute resolution practice in 2022. He specialises in commercial disputes before Indian Courts and arbitral tribunals, including in relation to insurance, construction, contracts and insolvency law.

Nabeel joined the Firm’s dispute resolution practice in 2021. He specialises in handling commercial disputes, and advises and represents both Indian and foreign clients before Courts and tribunals in India.

Catakam joined the Firm’s dispute resolution practice in 2022. He specialises in handling a variety of disputes which include contracts, insurance, shipping and admiralty law. Catakam has advised Indian and foreign insurers and represents clients on a range of proceedings before Indian Courts and arbitral tribunals.

Saket joined the Firm’s dispute resolution practice in 2011. He specialises in aviation disputes and regularly advises aircraft and engine lessors on repossession actions, damages against redelivery, insolvency and lease default actions. He is a member of the South Asia Contact Group of the Aviation Working Group, ISTAT and Airline Economics. Saket has successfully represented a wide range of aviation clients across various High Courts, Supreme Court of India and tribunals.

Anubhav joined the Firm in 2016 and specialises in handling both complex commercial disputes and contentious matters within the aviation sector. He has represented leading aircraft and engine lessors in high-stakes litigation involving asset repossession and lease disputes. Anubhav also advises clients on negotiating and structuring agreements for aircraft acquisitions and leasing.

Anuj specialises in regulatory and corporate commercial advisory matters. Anuj regularly provides advice on the legal and regulatory aspects of establishing and operating an aircraft leasing business in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), specifically in the GIFT City. He assists clients with the establishment of their entities, operational matters, on-going compliance and liaising with regulatory bodies.
